Change Page Name Facebook

Change Page Name Facebook - I recently altered the name of my Facebook page from Diana Stone-- Hormonal Imbalances Blog Site to Diana Composed. It was a simple procedure, however there were a couple of things along the method that Facebook decided to make a bit-- confusing.

So after several of you asked the best ways to do this, I decided that it was much easier to discuss with screenshots and a step by step. You can click to enlarge any of these screenshots.

Change Page Name Facebook

First, click over to your FB page. Not your personal-- the one for your blog/business/site. Click Edit Page, then Update Page Details.

You'll be taken to a screen that appears like this listed below. Click Edit to the right of your existing page name.

Click Demand Modification.

You'll see a form where you can request a name modification. This is where it gets a little complicated. But hang in there. Start to read and accept each of the terms Facebook has for name modifications.

Leave current name alone, fill in your new page name in the "Preferred" spot. Make certain it follows the guidelines that you read. If you don't see the reason for your modification in the drop down, click other.

Below is where I practically quit. As a blog writer, I have nothing showing the address of my company-- and I wasn't going to send them an individual costs or something like that. So? I just skipped it. I figured if they needed it, they 'd let me know. It does state "to speed up" and I didn't need it altered in a rush.

That's it! Click to send. I received an action a couple of days later on letting me know that it would need a 14 day waiting period.

Like a divorce.

And sure enough, today I visited to find my FB page name altered! Note: this does not alter the url, which was great with me because that would be a mess if it didn't redirect to the new one.

If that's all we can tell about Change Page Name Facebook I hope this article was helpful thank you.
