How to Change Name Of Facebook Page

How To Change Name Of Facebook Page - I recently changed the name of my Facebook page from Diana Stone-- Hormone Imbalances Blog to Diana Wrote. It was a simple process, however there were a few things along the method that Facebook chose to make a bit-- confusing.

So after several of you asked ways to do this, I chose that it was easier to discuss with screenshots and a step by step. You can click to enlarge any of these screenshots.

How To Change Name Of Facebook Page

First, click over to your FB page. Not your personal-- the one for your blog/business/site. Click Edit Page, then Update Page Details.

You'll be taken to a screen that looks like this listed below. Click Edit to the right of your existing page name.

Click Demand Modification.

You'll see a kind where you can ask for a name modification. This is where it gets a little complex. But hang in there. Start to read and accept each of the terms Facebook has for name changes.

Leave existing name alone, fill in your new page name in the "Desired" spot. Make sure it follows the guidelines that you check out. If you don't see the reason for your modification in the drop down, click other.

Below is where I practically stopped. As a blog writer, I have nothing showing the address of my company-- and I wasn't going to send them a personal expense or something like that. So? I simply avoided it. I figured if they needed it, they 'd let me understand. It does state "to expedite" and I didn't require it altered in a hurry.

That's it! Click to send out. I received a response a few days later on letting me understand that it would need a 2 Week waiting period.

Like a divorce.

And sure enough, today I logged in to find my FB page name altered! Note: this does not change the url, which was great with me because that would be a mess if it didn't redirect to the brand-new one.

If that's all we can tell about How To Change Name Of Facebook Page I hope this article was helpful thank you.
