Hide Photos On Facebook, Facebook upgraded its personal privacy settings for users yet once again. Now, most (if not all) users have been transitioned to Facebook's Timeline format. Here's ways to hide all photos on the brand-new Facebook profile:

Let's begin with all the pictures that you have in image albums.

Hiding Timeline Photos


On Mobile


1. Open Facebook. It's a dark-blue app with a white "f" on it. This will open your Facebook News Feed if you're currently logged into Facebook on your phone or tablet.

  • If you aren't logged into Facebook, enter your e-mail address (or contact number) and password to continue.


2. Tap ☰. It remains in either the bottom-right corner of the screen (iPhone) or the top-right corner of the screen (Android).

3. Tap your name. You'll see this tab at the top of the menu. Doing so takes you to your profile page.

4. Scroll down to the image you wish to conceal and tap Image entitled Android7expandmore.png. This icon is in the top-right corner of the photo post. Tapping it prompts a drop-down menu.

5. Tap Hide from Timeline. It remains in the drop-down menu.

6. Tap Conceal when triggered. This will get rid of the picture from your Timeline, though the picture itself will not be hidden from its album.

On Desktop


1. Go to Facebook's site. Go to https://www.facebook.com in your favored web browser. This will pack your News Feed if you're already logged into Facebook.

  • If you aren't currently logged into Facebook, enter your e-mail address (or telephone number) and password prior to continuing.


2. Click your name. Your very first name needs to remain in the upper-right side of the Facebook page. Click it to go to your profile.

3. Scroll down to the picture you wish to conceal and click Image entitled Android7expandmore.png. This button ought to be in the top-right corner of the photo post.

4. Click Conceal from Timeline. It's near the middle of the drop-down menu.

5. Click Conceal when triggered. Doing so will hide the image from your Timeline just; the image itself will still be noticeable from its album.

Hiding Photos and Albums


On Mobile


1. Understand exactly what you can and cannot hide. You can conceal individual images that are in long-term Facebook albums-- such as the "Timeline Photos" album or the "Mobile Uploads" album-- in addition to whole tailor-made albums. You can not conceal individual pictures in custom albums, nor can you conceal permanent albums.

  • You can't conceal albums while using the Facebook app for iPad.

  • Tap Just me.

  • Tap Save.


8. Hide an image in a permanent album. To do this:

  • Tap an integrated album.

  • Tap a picture you wish to conceal.

  • Tap ... (iPhone) or ⋮ (Android).

  • Tap Edit Personal Privacy.

  • Tap More, then tap Just me.

  • Tap Done.


On Desktop

  • Click Just me.


7. Conceal a photo in a permanent album. To do this:

  • Click a built-in album.

  • Click the photo you want to conceal.

  • Click the personal privacy icon below your name.

  • Click Just me.
